Field and Equipment Coordinator
The AYSO volunteer position of the field and equipment coordinator is intended to manage the region’s equipment and be responsible for acquisition and maintenance of all playing fields including practice fields. Set up the equipment room and inventory equipment prior to the beginning of the season to assess purchase requirements. Propose equipment requirements, supplier and budget for the season. Receive, check, inventory and store equipment at end of season. Assist the safety director in ensuring a proper and safe playing environment. Coordinate with the referee and the safety director the correction of any and all hazardous conditions on or near the playing fields, e.g. holes, projection sprinkler heads, welding cracks in the goals, etc.
